FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- What are Bell Credits?
- Bell Credits are pre-purchased platform credits (1 Credit = KSh 1) used to bid and buy on GoatVest. They cannot be redeemed for cash and can only be used on the platform.
- How does bidding work?
- Only the top three bids on a live auction hold Bell Credits. If your bid drops to fourth place or lower, your credits are released automatically. When an auction ends, the seller chooses a buyer from the top three bids.
- What is Cash Earnings?
- Cash Earnings is your withdrawable balance from milk income and sale proceeds. You can withdraw to M-Pesa subject to KYC tier limits.
- Can I cancel a listing?
- Sellers can delist within 24 hours of going live, or before the first bid — whichever comes first. After that, the listing runs until the auction ends.
- What is the Virtual Farm?
- The Virtual Farm lets aspiring investors add goats to a simulated portfolio and track projected milk income. It costs 100 Bell Credits per month. Investors with an active GMA certificate get free access.
- How do partner farms join?
- Submit a farm application via Partner as a Farm. Our team verifies your farm visit and documentation before granting dashboard access.
